A native of Rome, Georgia, Dakota Ball graduated from Pepperell High School in 2012. After high school, he attended the University of Alabama on a full-ride football scholarship, playing as a defensive lineman and tight end. During his time at Alabama, Dakota was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for three consecutive years. He earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Kinesiology and went on to complete a master's degree in Sports Business Management.
Now in his 7th year of teaching, Dakota is a special needs educator at Pepperell Schools, where he is passionate about supporting and educating his students.
Dakota recently married Anna Dulaney Ball. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, fishing, hunting, working out, hiking, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Ball is a member of the Greater Rome Board of Realtors, The National Association of Realtors, and The Rome/Floyd Chamber of Commerce.
