Kenneth B. Gibson, Jr. is a seasoned forestry and land sales professional with more than four decades of experience in the forest products and real estate industries. A graduate of the University of Georgia’s School of Forest Resources, he built a distinguished career focused on fiber procurement, land management, sales, acquisitions, and strategic exchanges.
Gibson spent more than 30 years with Temple-Inland and later its spin-off, Forestar Real Estate Group. During his tenure at Temple-Inland, he worked in wood procurement, gaining deep operational knowledge of timber supply, land valuation, and forest resource management. He ultimately rose to serve as Vice President of Land Sales and Exchanges for both Temple-Inland and Forestar, where he led complex transactions and large-scale land strategies across the Southeast. Over the course of his career, Gibson has been responsible for the sale of more than 400,000 acres through high-volume retail land sale programs and investment transactions with institutional investors.
Since retiring from corporate leadership in 2017, Gibson has continued to apply his extensive industry expertise as an exclusive agent specializing in forest and farm properties throughout Georgia and eastern Alabama. His work is recognized for combining strong market insight with a deep understanding of timberland value and rural property dynamics.
