Born in Rome and raised in Cedartown, Wright Abney has spent the past 14 years building
meaningful connections across Polk, Floyd, and Bartow counties. A graduate of Darlington
School, Wright brings a deep appreciation for Northwest Georgia’s people, history, and
potential.
With a background in restaurant and hospitality management, Wright developed a strong
foundation in service, adaptability, and attention to detail. He has since led multiple small
businesses throughout Rome and Northwest Georgia, collaborating with fellow entrepreneurs
to build scalable operations grounded in high standards and long-term success. Deeply
committed to community involvement, Wright often partners with local schools and
organizations such as DIGS.
Wright's professional philosophy reflects a saying he often shares: “I’m a jack of many trades,
master of none—but often better than master of one.” That mindset—combined with his broad
business experience—enables him to guide clients through the buying and selling process with
clarity, confidence, and genuine care.
Wright and his wife, Camille, live in Old East Rome with their dogs, Hank and Roux. They enjoy
traveling and staying active through Aussie Rules Football, tennis, and pickleball. A proud
Georgia Bulldogs fan—especially when they’re playing Camille’s beloved Auburn Tigers—Wright
values time with friends and family above all and believes strong relationships are the
cornerstone of both a meaningful life and a successful career.
Wright is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Georgia Association of
Realtors, Greater Rome Board of Realtors and the Rome-Floyd Chamber of Commerce.
